Cecelia Memorial Presbyterian Church is located at 716 College Street in Bowling Green, KY. The church was founded in 1847 by Cecelia Lillard, a free black woman, who lived several blocks down the street.
The present congregation is quite small and the church is aging and struggling. Approximately 10 members attend the Sunday worship service held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday School is held from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
Wednesday evenings they offer a prayer meeting followed by a Bible study. Currently the church is trying to provide Christian education to 4 youngsters.
