Saturday Meals Program
Saturday Meals began in 1991 and over the past six years has involved the combined efforts of eight area churches to provide hot, wholesome meals to residents in the Gordon Avenue area, many of whom are shut-ins, every Saturday. The average attendance of people served at Emmanual Baptist Church runs between 25-30 people. Actual home deliveries can go as high as 50 recipients.
Volunteers are needed to deliver the hot meals every Saturday. Our church's turn comes up every two months. The meal is served from 10:30am-12:00pm.
