Where in the World Does Our Money Go?

Answer: All over His World!

Benevolence:
Disposition to do good
An act of kindness
Generous gift

People of faith raise Webster's definition of benevolence to a higher level by believing that loving one's neighbor is the manifestation of loving our God. One cannot love God without loving neighbor. And this love is perceived in many different ways. We feed the hungry, clothe the naked, provide water for the thirsty, build shelters for the homeless and take in the outcast. Under that same love, the gospel is spread here and abroad and community is developed by establishing a connectional system with our fellow brethren. For example, 39% of the Presbyterian portion of unified giving is divided among six mission priorities one of which is used in increasing opportunities, and fostering a "family of God."

"Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."
