OVERNIGHT HIKING FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY IN THE SMOKIES Friday and Saturday nights, October 27 and October 28. Stay 2 nights for $135/person - Includes 5 meals. We will be staying at Eagle Rock, www.eaglerocktn.com, which is a Christian retreat located on top of Chilhowee Mountain bordering the southern range of the Great Smoky Mountains. Lots of activities, and Sunday worship will be held in the lodge prior to our return to Bowling Green. SUNDAY September 24th is our Habitat Luncheon and Auction!!! The Mission Committee will be hosting the now infamous Dessert Auction and Lunch after worship on September 24th to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Herb Simmons' world famous Bird Houses will be available for silent auction. We are also looking for some other talented artists to donate a painting or photo for the live Auction. If you have a fabulous dessert, bring it so our tables can compete to eat! Questions or to donate, please contact Debbie Trickey.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE BEGINS this Sunday at 9:30am. Coffee fellowship at 8:30am. Adults have three options: Ellis Class, studying the Uniform Lesson Series through The Present Word; Christian Thought reading/discussing Witness Without Parallel - 8 Scriptures That Make Us Presbyterian, led by Dr. Glenn Kirkconnell; and Coffee & Conversation reading discussing Searching For Happiness - led by class members. Youth (6ht-12th) gather in the Youth Suite. Preschool (age 3-5) and Godly Play (K-5th) in the Children's Center. Nursery care for those under three for Sunday School and Worship.
TEACHER/LEADER DEDICATION - We will have a special dedication this Sunday for our Teachers and Leaders in our Christian Education programs.

CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYERS The Friday contemplative prayers group meets weekly, on Friday mornings at 10:30am at the church. All are welcome.
