ROOM IN THE INN HAS BEGUN. Volunteers are needed as we once again begin our weekly hosting of our homeless friends every Thursday. Sign-up sheets are in the 10th Ave Lobby. If you wish to help with a meal, contact Shannon Dyche (dinner) or Cathey Green (breakfast). Other questions can be answered by David Coverdale.

THANKSGIVING DINNER – Thursday, November 22 at noon. Once again we will host a dinner in our Fellowship Hall. Turkey, stuffing, gravy are provided. You bring a side dish or dessert. PLEASE RSVP by November 18 to the church office.

CHRISTMAS MARKET IS COMING DECEMBER 1st! Plan to come to the church and do some Christmas shopping with a purpose. We have raised $450 for Habitat from those selling items! Several vendors will be donating some or all proceeds to other Mission projects, so your purchase will continue to make a difference. We will be open 9-2, come for brunch and shop.

EVERY YEAR AT CHRISTMAS, SATURDAY MEALS prepares a box of food for the families it serves. This year our Church is responsible for providing 300 cans of Green Beans. We will be collecting them until December 17th. We will need 2 drivers from our Church on December 21st along with one person that would like to help with early morning set up. The following week on December 29 will need one driver and one person to help with early morning set up. If you are interested, please contact Debbie Trickey at or 270-893-3399.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OUR MARKET ON DECEMBER 1st. Come enjoy time serving the community as we raise money for various mission projects. Click here for the sign up. And get some great Christmas shopping done!

OUR ANGEL TREE IS UP! Please consider taking one or more angels (PLEASE SIGN OUT on the clipboard). Purchase the items, wrap, attach the tag securely and return by December 11.

VESPER SERVICE ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT The congregation is now familiar with the annual four o’clock vesper service on the first Sunday of Advent. The date is December 2nd. The intention is to have a quieter time to reflect on the meaning of Christ’s entry into this word. The organ music is intentionally quieter… the hymns are suggestive of the miracle of Christ’s entry… the prayer and readings are in the aspect of anticipation. Remember the date; mark it on the calendar. Invite friends and join the church for this time of spiritual preparation. — Thomas N. Moody, organist

CHRISTMAS BOOK SALE (benefits Living Waters for the World): We have books for children AND adults. Browse selections and order those or others on the order form. All forms will be due December 2 and books will be delivered in time for holiday giving.

THE ADVENT WORKSHOP will be Sunday November 25, 3:00-4:30 in Fellowship Hall. Make a wreath for home devotional use. $10 for materials, bring a ROUND, straight sided waterproof dish. Bring greenery from your yard to share. Devotional guides available.
