VESPER FOR ADVENT A tradition developed in this congregation several years ago to begin the observance of Advent: a Vesper Service at 4:00pm in the Sanctuary. Candles, music, hymns and scripture help to set our minds and hearts on the time the Christian Church has long-appointed for spiritual preparation. Come at 4:00pm on Sunday, December 3rd. Invite a friend for this service, open to the community.
HELP WITH BREAKFAST HOSPITALITY. During Advent (December 3, 10, 17) we will be all together in Fellowship Hall. We will start with food fellowship around 9-9:15 each day. Click here to sign up. We do have our homeless friends visit with us often on Sundays, so we want to extend the table with abundance.
JOIN US FOR THE CHRISTMAS PARADE - Saturday December 2. We'll gather around 8:15 in Fellowship Hall and get ready to hand out hot chocolate and water to those coming to watch the parade. This is a great all-family activity and you'll have prime viewing. We'll give out treats until about 9:30 and then enjoy the parade from the steps.
