Other Opportunities for Giving

Buck in a Basket 2025 Schedule: Click Here

Buck in A Basket Offering is a twice a month opportunity to consider contributing during the offering for a particular mission not included in our regular budget. **UPDATED November 2025**  The offering has been increased to weekly and December 2025's offering will directly benefit CUIC Help Ministry.

Churches United in Christ Help Ministry:

The Presbyterian Church is blessed to be a part of Churches United In Christ, a joint ministry of downtown Bowling Green churches which assists with utilities and other crisis matters.

As an act of love and Christian concern, these churches have united in their mission to provide emergency assistance to persons and families in need. Assistance is given without regard for sex, age, race, national origin, religious affiliation, or status.

Types of assistance offered include Auto fuel (in cases of emergency and/or medical transportation),  Bus Transportation, Medical Prescriptions, & Utility Bills.  

You can help by giving directly to the CUIC Help fund, or by volunteering with the ministry to interview applicants and provide aid when needed.  For more information, contact the church office info@bgpres.org.
